Our love story
First Date
April 16, 2010Matt and Casey met in high school AP Physics class. Matt sat next to Casey and started talking with her. They started working on projects together and hanging out after class. Eventually Matt asked Casey out and they had their first date eating frozen yogurt at Menchies.
It's Official
July 30, 2010After a successful first date and a summer full of many more dates, Matt asked Casey to be his girlfriend.
Off To College
September 2011 - June 2015Once they graduated high school, Matt and Casey went off to college. They spent the next 4 years traveling back and forth between San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara. Even though there was distance between them, they grew closer than ever.
First Apartment
July 2015Two degrees and two job offers later, Matt and Casey packed up their car and headed to San Francisco to move into their first apartment together.
Proposal
Dec 5, 2019A surprise trip to Paris turned into the most magical proposal. Matt took Casey to Paris for her birthday. On the way to what she thought was a fancy birthday dinner, they came across some photographers asking for photos. Matt was actually working with the photographers to set the stage for his proposal. He asked her to marry him and she said the easiest yes of her life.
